KFC Trademark Lawsuit Against Church’s Texas Chicken

The suit has been filed by KFC Corp against Church’s Texas Chicken in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas under Case No. 4:24-cv-01000 for allegedly misleading consumers through an advertisement campaign by Church’s that may diminish the value of KFC trademark lawsuit.

In the complaint, KFC presented a letter. The letter resulted in a warning to Church’s representatives. It stated the advertisements would undoubtedly diminish the distinctive quality and value of KFC’s famous marks.” It is stated that KFC has not received any response from Church’s.

The firm is demanding financial damages and a court injunction to order Church’s to stop its use of the alleged trademarked phrase.
